****im seeing visions***

Over the Thanksgiving break i took a visit to Baltimore's visionary art museum, a museum most fitting for the city , encapsulating all of its lovely weirdness.plus it is home to the best gift shop eveeerrrr. sadly it was packed with people due to an art fair so i couldnt rummage the shop as much as i would have liked but i did manage a few photos. Also i snuck a really awesome video of the robots but i forgot to press record in all my haste! ive also included my concepts that i  worked on during the week. im really excited about this collection and am hoping it will turn out as good as i think it will...

While researching more about radiation and vintage japan i came across these amazing public ads against venereal disease. they are both graphically awesome as well as subject wise. i love the slogans!

the Reptile is on the loose

After that horror that was the gap project it is finally time for the last big project of the semester( at least for one of my classes) and since i have yet to do a project on any aspect of my heritage i thought why not Godzilla!?!?! a requierment of the project was to base the collection off a place so i chose the Japan house in neighboring Ditmas Park . its amazzzing, wish i lived there. it combines the oriental obsession of the late 19th century- early 20th american culture resulting in a beautiful queen ann japaned house.

ROAD.. TRIPPING??????

FInally this Gap competition is pretty much wrapped up and for this hi low concept i created a stellar book that im pretty proud of based off of the desert drive and cheap neon lit motel signs found there. a few minor tweaks and fixes would have made for something wonderful but damn last min printing!!! i took a few snaps of my finished product but i purposefully left a bit of mystery to the full resolved designs so you ll have to hunt me down to see it in the realz. i also included my two drawings i did for homework this week.
