escapade to escape

living so close to Prospect park warrants frequent travel to its dreamy world of nature and victorian architecture. here are some divining details from the american victorian park and the inspiration of beaux arts architecture, arts and crafts architecture, the great camps and boat making. i also included a few oil paintings of the park form the founder of Parsons ( william merrit Chase) who loved to paint the park.

This week, continuing with the project for vis.com. and the repetition of the assignment i have created a few more mood(inspiration) boards ..

this is some of my most rescent croquis sessions( as requiered to submit), im pretty uncomfortable with displaying my designs via the internet since they are special to me and i dont want anyone to get any niffty ideas from my work but since it is a requisite here is a taste...my finishes were collected otherwized id include them in the lot but until them this temptation will have to suffice, there are also a few of my illustrations tossed in from the various lecture courses i take and thus am bored in and so the drawing begins...

i finally got a new baby! no not a child or a puppy but my olympus pen camera!!!hurray for me and to get it i went into the future of 1985 at band js which is the most bizarre place ever! anyways i took a trip to Rosies and munched on a burrrrrito( i like to pretend that i can rrrroll my arrrrs) from a heart warming traditional mexican restauraunt gem  hidden in back of a dinky  grociery store in bed stuy bk. who would of guesses, but my gal Rosie, being the awesome treasure hunter she is scored when this place was unearthed, too bad "L" (for lame) magazine has found it as well and thus the secret shall be no more.

Fashion week left me unamused except for a select few designers who really blew my mind. i was so disappointed in my favorites, prada, rodarte, what happened?! all i can say is  Lanvin thanksssss  for your  snakesssss!

concept concieved

the burden of the past five weeks have finally been lifted and alas were on to round two! here is a little snippet of what ive been working on for my vis.com class and i shall post many more images once scanned of the last project. my tsirt was collected by the school so i must and will make a mini process post of it once my croquis book is scanned. the weimar republic project was completed with hectic endings but was recieved well and now with a little breath of air i move onto the next segment and concept( credits to rosies brainstorming head of genius) cheap motels!( for integrated) . as for visual communication i amtold we are to stick with the current concept from the start of the semester and it will carry through til the end, for that i give you my recent color and mood boards...
